The Progress Donates Retired Rudolph and Rudy Costumes to CCHS...

The Progress has donated one of its retired sets of Rudolph and Rudy costumes to the Clearfield County Historical Society. The donation was offered to the Society last Christmas season by the late Dianne Byers, and the gift is now being made in her memory. The duo was introduced in 1964 and retired last year, 2024, after 60 years of holiday delight.

The public is invited to visit the Kerr House Museum on Saturday, December 6, from 1–4 p.m. for the Society’s holiday book sale. A variety of local history books, maps, prints, and memberships will be available—perfect for the history enthusiasts on your gift list. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the iconic Christmas costumes up close.
